Parc Safari

Founded in 1972 in Hemmingford, just minutes from the American border and approximately 30 minutes from Montreal, Parc Safari quickly set itself apart in Quebec's wildlife attractions landscape through its distinctive concept of a drive-through safari accessible directly from your personal vehicle, allowing visitors to observe at their own pace animals roaming in semi-freedom across vast enclosures that faithfully recreate their natural habitats. The park, which today houses approximately 500 animals representing 75 different species from all five continents, boasts a particularly rich collection of African wildlife — zebras, elephants, rhinoceroses, wildebeest, lions — as well as Asian species, including buffalo, gaur, Bactrian camels and yaks, alongside North American species such as bison and elk.
