North Hatley and Lake Massawippi

Despite its modest population of approximately 700 permanent residents, North Hatley has earned a reputation as one of the most sought-after gastronomic and leisure destinations in the Eastern Townships, boasting a concentration of restaurants, vineyards, and outdoor activities rarely matched for a village of this size. Nestled on the shores of Lake Massawippi, the village enjoys a privileged natural setting, with a scenic trail running along the lake for approximately 19 km, ideal for hiking and cycling alike, as well as direct access to water activities from its marina.
